Who can join?
The Jubilee Singers is an all female choral group. We welcome ladies of all ages including junior members under the age of eighteen years.
We are a friendly choir that savours the challenge of choral singing and we enjoy opportunities to share a love of music and welcome new members.
If you are interested in choral singing you are welcome to come to a rehearsal before deciding to join us. On application for membership, our conductor will hold a short, friendly audition to ascertain voice range and suitability.
Membership fees
Membership fee is $75 annually plus an additional $5 per rehearsal for adult members. The annual fee is due in February/March following the Annual General Meeting each year. The fees together with contributions from performances and fundraising events cover the purchase of new music and administration costs.
Uniform
For performances, the uniform consists of a full length blue skirt with matching short sleeved top. A soft pastel coloured scarf is draped about the neckline. A gold and crystal treble clef is worn on the left shoulder. In cold weather, we wear our own black or navy jackets or cardigans. Pewter coloured shoes are worn. The uniform is purchased from the choir with a buy back offered on resignation.

Rehearsals
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm from late January to mid December. We meet at Ashgrove West Uniting Church, 491 Waterworks Rd, Ashgrove.
